THE DYNAMIC PROCESS OF CREATING A LIVING LEGACY

Starting with open communication makes all the difference

While universal dynamics exist within each family, yours is unique given everyone’s life histories and lived experiences. No one-size-fits-all approach exists. One constant is that people want to be heard and have their views considered. To this end, we customize our process to fit your family configuration and considerations.

Step 1:

Co-Create

Together we plan your legacy and inheritance succession. It can be difficult to talk about money, even with those we hold close. So we customize a plan to facilitate honest and caring conversation with your family and use their input to determine a future that involves everyone. We pull from years of experience in legacy, estate, and business planning to build on your ideas and wishes. The result is a personalized and documented roadmap ready to share with your advisory team.

Once we complete the co-creation phase, we help you effectively communicate your vision and wishes with your legal, risk management, and financial advisors so they can determine the appropriate structure for your plan. This can be an iterative process, where you may tailor your legacy and vision for the future to fit various legal and financial considerations that may arise.

Step 2:

Communicate

Step 3:

Review

We review the newly created legal and financial framework with you and your advisory team to confirm that the anticipated result will accomplish your goals. If you’re unhappy with any part of the plan, we make sure it’s addressed before your advisory team puts it into action.

Over time, lives, circumstances, and assets change. Whether expected or unexpected, those changes may impact your legacy plan. We revisit your plan with your family periodically to determine any updates that are appropriate, ensuring your vision for the future is reflected in the architecture of your plan.

Step 4:
